Our tour begins at Discovery Parks Adelaide, with a Welcome Dinner and “Meet and Greet”.

This is where you will meet your fellow travellers and discuss our exciting adventure for the coming week. Following breakfast the next morning it is time to hit the road. The first town to visit will be Port Augusta. After setting up camp it is well worth visiting the Wadlata Outback Centre. From Port Augusta, we head for Woomera. This town has truck loads of history and was the site of the Woomera Rocket Range. We will also do a bit of star gazing at the Woomera Observatory. From here it’s time to head underground, with an opal mine tour at Coober Pedy. From Coober Pedy, we travel to William Creek, on the Oodnadatta Track.

Further down the Oodnadatta track, we stop off at Kati Thanda – Lake Eyre, then onto lunch at the Marree Hotel, before setting up camp at Farina. From Farina, our next stop is Peterborough. The Railway Museum here is a must see. Leaving Peterborough, it’s time to head back to Adelaide.
