Eyre Peninsula Tour
TOUR DATES: 10TH JULY 2025
There is no doubt this will be a fantastic week, exploring some of South Australia’s stunning Eyre Peninsula.
You will discover everything from Coffin Bay Oysters to wines in the Barossa on this tagalong tour.
Our tour begins at Discovery Parks Whyalla, with a Welcome Dinner and “Meet and Greet”. This is where you will meet your fellow travellers and discuss our exciting adventure for the coming week. Following breakfast the next morning it is time to hit the road.
The first town to visit will be Port Lincoln, where we will visit the Axel Stenroff Maritime Museum. From Port Lincoln, we head for Elliston, but not without stopping at Coffin Bay for a tour and tasting at Coffin Bay Oyster Farm. From Elliston we head for Streaky Bay, Murphy’s Haystacks are a must see, these rock formations are just incredible. Ceduna is our next stop and I highly recommend a visit to the Ceduna Arts Centre. From Ceduna, we head east to Kimba.
Don’t forget to take a photo with the big Galah. Leaving Kimba, we head for Jamestown, the home of R M Williams. Here we visit the R M Williams Monument as well as the Railway Station Museum. Our final Day travelling together sees us heading for the Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. Here we will visit one of the many wineries this area has to offer.
