Kimberley & Savannah Way Tour

2 adults, 25 days and nights.

This 25 day tour is the ultimate road trip, through some of the most spectacular scenery this country has to offer.

Starting off at Broome, WA we head to Derby. This is where the real adventure begins. From Derby we will spend the next 6 days on the Gibb River Road, exploring the magnificent gorges and and waterfalls of the Kimberley region. We will be camping at and exploring Wandjina Gorge. You will also have an afternoon free to take part in some of the many activities at Home Valley Station if you wish. From here we head to Kununurra where we will be spending two nights beside the beautiful Lake Kununurra. While here you will be treated to a boat cruise on the Ord River, as well as visiting Durack Homestead Museum.

Heading further east we arrive a Katherine for 3 days. Here we embark on another tour boat for a 4-hour, 3 gorge tour where we indulge in the natural and spectacular beauty of Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge). From Katherine, it’s onto Mataranka for a relaxing evening in the hot springs. Then we head for Lorella Springs Station and Burketown on our way to Normanton for 2 days.  Here we will have a day out on the Gulflander Train.

We will also visit the Terrestrial Mineral Collection at Georgetown before heading to Undara to see the amazing sites of the Undara Lava Tubes. Our next afternoon will be spent at Ravenshoe, bushwalking at  Millstream Falls before we reach our final destination at Cairns.
